Get ready to push up your sleeves and have fun making paste paper! Explore the wonders of a simple method of using paint, glue and water to create original decorative papers that can be used in book binding as well as a multitude of other expressive projects.
Students will learn all the tricks of mixing paint, making marks and successfully making professional quality paper with colorful abstract designs and patterns. As time permits, students will also learn the process of hand laminating to create sheets of beautiful translucent paper. No plastic are used in this process and you will be amazed at the results! No previous experience is necessary. This class uses all non-toxic materials and acid free paper.
Please Note: Students should bring a hair dryer and scraps of lightweight paper or cloth with them to class that they can include in their paper pieces.
