Dahlov Ipcar’s recent work is on view at the Frost Gully Gallery from November 16 until December 28. The 98 year old artist still paints in a style she calls “non-intellectual cubism,” with vibrant colors. Ipcar’s paintings come from her imagination. She conjures exotic animals that she’s never seen and paints them in nature’s rhythm to vibrant backgrounds that captivate and inspire.
Her images in children’s books have inspired thousands and have molded many a childhood. She brings magic and fun to all she paints.
